Parking Area

The Sacro Monte can be reached:

• on foot following a twenty minute uphill path that starts from the center of Varallo;
• by car from the carriage road from the hamlet of Crosa di Varallo
• by funicular (Round trip € 5,00 pp. - groups € 4,00 pp. - free for children up to 6 years)

There are several paying car parks near the funicular, made available by the municipality. Different rules are in force for coaches.

How to reach us?

from Milan:
take the motorway A4 Torino-Trieste (direction to Torino) and follow then A26 Gravellona Toce. Leave the motorway at Romagnano Sesia-Ghemme and follow direction to Varallo (115km 1h40m)

from Turin:
take the motorway A4 Torino-Trieste and follow then A26 Gravellona Toce. Leave the motorway at Romagnano Sesia-Ghemme and follow direction to Varallo. (130km 1h45m)

from Genoa:

take the motorway A26 Gravellona Toce Leave the motorway at  Romagnano Sesia-Ghemme follow then direction to Varallo (200km 2h20m)
